Our mission is to transform lives through learning, advocating for inclusivity and diversity at every step.About the RoleAs an Employability Skills & Placement Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our students gain high-quality work experience, develop employability skills, and successfully transition into employment, apprenticeships, or further education. You will work closely with students, employers, and curriculum staff to coordinate placements, provide employability training, and support students in overcoming barriers to work.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganising and coordinating work placements, industry tasters, and employability workshopsSupporting students in developing their confidence and skills for the workplaceLiaising with local employers to create meaningful work opportunitiesPreparing students for interviews and the world of workMonitoring student progress and providing tailored supportEnsuring all compliance and safeguarding requirements are metSkills & KnowledgeWe strive to be an inclusive employer and welcome applications from individuals who believe they can contribute effectively to this role.
