The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Sales Administrator to join our team in Buckshaw Village (Chorley), UK on a full-time basis. If you are passionate about working with people, managing customer orders, resolving customer issues, and expediting back orders, this is the job for you!
The team
As part of a team of 9 colleagues, your main responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our account management function to ensure that we are exceeding our customer's expectations and providing a market-leading customer experience.
What we're looking for
1. Experience: a first relevant experience in a customer relationship type roles
2. Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
3. Collaboration Tool: Basic Microsoft Office skills required
4. You have the ability to work autonomously, with strong communication skills for internal stakeholders
5. You have solid planning and coordination skills with the ability to prioritise
6. You have an eye for detail
7. You have a sense of urgency but handle pressure well
How you will thrive and create an impact
- Efficiently manage the process of entering sales order requests into our bespoke system, while also handling invoicing and generating reports to support our Sales team.
- Own the customer request and experience from initiation to conclusion.
- Process all customer requests via computer.
- Utilize multiple and often complex systems, programs, and monitors in order to research information.
- Handle complex queries on occasion and bridge communication between internal departments to ensure swift resolution of issues related to sales orders invoicing discrepancies or customer concerns.
- Adopt a collaborative approach to maintain a seamless operation and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
