Purpose of the post:
1. To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children placed in the setting.
2. To give support to staff, working well both independently and as a team within the setting.
3. To provide a safe, secure, and enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn, and develop.
Key areas:
1. Work with and support children, acting as a key person - completing fortnightly observations using the Tapestry app and planning activities alongside meaningful invitations to play supporting the child's interests.
2. Build and maintain a working parent-partnership to ensure all children’s individual needs are met, including parents' evenings and summary development checks & reports.
3. Knowledge of the EYFS principles and the ability to incorporate the statutory requirements into a fun and purposeful environment to encourage our children to thrive.
4. Knowledge of OFSTED requirements - up to date with relevant changes and able to support new ideas to enhance our setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
