If so, we have an opportunity for a Credit Reconciliation Specialist to join our Finance team here at the Regatta Group in Urmston (Manchester), to provide an effective & accurate credit control function for the department and to act as an interface between the company and the customer.
The impact you will have on this role is:
1. Present findings of anomalies to wider business, to explain reasons why the data is or isn’t accurate and offer solutions to rectify any issues which arise.
2. Ensure prompt collection of outstanding debts efficiently and effectively
3. Highlight problems and issues as they arise; Deal with unallocated cash and reconciliations of client accounts
4. Prepare monthly overdue and problem debt reports to be shared and discussed with Senior Credit Reconciliation Specialist
5. Reduce the over 60+ day debts & monitor overall credit balances of accounts
6. Conduct regular meetings with Sales Managers to discuss outstanding debts – via Microsoft Teams or face to face
7. Achieve personal and team targets. Identifies and actions opportunities for personal and professional development
8. Completed work set and meeting time deadlines accordingly. Deals with ad-hoc requests with minimal disruption to their work
9. Adheres to the procedures, best practice, and templates relevant to the role
10. Monitor credit limit in accordance with our Credit Insurance and report overdue debts to them promptly to avoid a claim being rejected.
11. Effective relationships are built with key stakeholders across the business.
12. Any other duties as required within the scope of credit control and related functions
