We currently have an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our community to take on the position of Assistant Principal on a full time, permanent basis. Key responsibilities of the position will to be an active member of the SLT and assist the principal in leading the school. To undertake the usual responsibilities of a class teacher, whilst taking responsibility for leading other staff to ensure interventions are pupil-centred and relevant to their needs. To take lead responsibility for ensuring that pupils' personal, emotional and academic needs are prioritised by providing strategic leadership across the school and contribute to a safe and welcoming learning environment for pupils. Our key aims for our children are to:
* Become happy, safe and confident members of the community
* Develop strategies for self-managing their behaviour in all settings.
* Become responsible citizens
* Fulfil their potential to lead as meaningful and independent a life as possible
To achieve these aims we need dedicated members of staff to join us in addressing the needs of children who need help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the school in order to achieve their full potential. Why join Woodfield School?
