As a large NHS trust, we are committed to enhancing the health of our local population by delivering consistently high standards of care and working closely with local authorities and key partners. We believe in our power and potential to make a difference and we're always looking for people who demonstrate our three core values - care, appreciate, and inspire - to join our team. In return, we can offer you a job role with purpose and flexibility. The size and scale of the NCA means we can provide more challenge and opportunities so your career can always be moving in the right direction. By joining us you can also access a competitive benefits package, including a fantastic annual leave allowance, flexible working opportunities, and protected hours for health and wellbeing activities, helping you to achieve more personal downtime and a better work-life balance.
We require enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to play an important role dedicated to ensuring excellent standards of care to our patients on our General and colorectal ward. Working within a team of highly skilled and motivated staff where patient focus is our priority. We strive to make patient, family, and carer experience as good as possible. Clinical Support Workers play a vital role in line with nurses to deliver excellent care to our patients with broad and varied health conditions. The job is both exciting and challenging where team working is essential and initiative is paramount. Excellent communication, confidence, and compassion are essential. Experience in healthcare is an advantage but not essential as successful candidates will take part in the care certificate course - developing basic nursing skills before some extended competencies such as obtaining and accurate recording of blood pressure, venepuncture, and ECGs. At NCA we are committed to excellence, in both the services we provide our patients and the support we give our staff. That's why we need you!
