Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust
Are you a passionate and dynamic Leader seeking to develop and manage a service? An exciting opportunity has arisen within our cross-county CAMHS service to work as a Locality Service Manager. You will manage various CAMHS portfolios across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Within recent years, CAMHS services have received additional investment. Locally, significant service developments have been undertaken within our CAMHS Crisis and Home Treatment Team, CAMHS Eating Disorder Service, Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (WEST), and the CAMHS Youth Team. These developments have led to an increase in service offers to children and young people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire and have received positive feedback from Children, Families, and Partner agencies. We continue to review and develop our offer across all CAMHS services; the Locality Service Manager will play a pivotal role within this.
This role is a cross-county role, with bases across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The successful candidate will be sited at a base most convenient for them, with travel expected; travel expenses are claimed back through the trust's travel expenses policy.
Main Duties of the Job
The CAMHS Locality Services Manager role will support the review, development, and implementation of the projects alongside the operational management of the service. You will provide leadership and will be involved in the development of the service alongside other senior colleagues and in conjunction with Adult Mental Health colleagues across both Herefordshire and Worcestershire. You will form part of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire senior leadership team.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic service manager who is passionate about CAMHS. A demonstrable track record of CAMHS or transferable skills in clinical leadership experience is a must. You will have experience of supervising clinicians and be able to evidence operational leadership skills and abilities, as well as being able to gather, analyze, report, and act upon data. You must be registered with a professional body.
