About Us:
Welcome to a new beginning! We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new, medium to low risk Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Children's Home. This is our very first home, and we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment for our young residents.
The Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Children's Home Manager to lead and oversee our three-bedded home. As the pioneer of our new service, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our home and ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
2. Lead and develop a dedicated team of care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and training.
3. Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and practices in line with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
4. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
5. Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and individual support plans.
6. Ensure the home meets and exceeds all regulatory and quality standards.
About You:
1. Proven experience in managing a children's home or a similar setting.
2. Demonstrated success in bringing a new service to life, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
3. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a track record of achieving or maintaining good Ofsted ratings.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
