Job Title: Stock Condition Surveyor
Job Location: Field Base - Oxford
Salary: £41,800 (+ £750 Car Allowance) per annum - depending on skills and experience.
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full Time 37hrs per week
We are looking for surveyors with a can-do attitude and a track record of surveying properties.
About the role
The primary purpose of this role is the collection and validation of accurate property condition and repair data to inform the annual programme of investment, the Business Plan and long-term financial planning process.
The Stock Condition Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring that our homes are safe, desirable, and ultimately meet the Decent Homes and the HHSRS standard. This will include collecting and lodging energy data in order to create Energy Performance Certification for our properties to feed into the group’s Decarbonisation Strategy and wider sector Social Housing decarbonisation agenda.
You will ensure that accurate stock condition, energy, planned repairs, and compliance-related data is collected. It requires high levels of customer care and communication during the delivery of the survey programme.
Other duties will include:
* Property condition surveys (dwellings, blocks, and communal areas)
* Property and block compliance surveys
* Energy and RDSAP Surveys (if required, all relevant training will be given to employees as part of their induction)
* Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) surveys
* Ad-hoc condition and validation surveys to meet business objectives.
* Customer query and complaint surveys where required.

About you
For this role, you will require a recognised qualification in building surveying, maintenance, construction, energy, or asset management related field.
BTEC, HND/HNC or equivalent ability or vocabulary, verbal reasoning, and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level is essential for this role.
Domestic Energy assessment accreditation in order to lodge energy performance certification would be considered an advantage.
A strength would be excellent planning, project, time and workload management, and personal organisation skills.
Ideally, you will have experience within Social Housing.
This role will require you to have a Full UK Driving Licence.
