About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or those who may require additional guidance in mainstream settings. You will work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to provide tailored support that enhances student learning and development. Key Responsibilities: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, providing targeted support to meet individual learning needs. Assist teachers in creating inclusive learning environments by helping to differentiate lessons and activities. Provide emotional and social support to students, encouraging positive behavior and engagement. Help students build their confidence and independence in both academic and social aspects of school life. Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring that their individual education plans (IEPs) are being followed effectively. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational or SEN setting (desirable but not essential). A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children with diverse needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff. A commitment to promoting inclusive education and equal opportunities for all students.
