NHS GRAMPIAN Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service (MIDAS) Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for this permanent post in the Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service (MIDAS) to take responsibility for the leadership of the multi-disciplinary team across Health & Social Care Moray incorporating operational and quality aspects, combined with the future development of the service. The postholder will lead the team to provide a service for MIDAS which is in line with National and Local strategy. This will include nursing, social work and psychological therapists and working closely with commissioned service. The successful applicant will be a key member of the Moray Drug & Alcohol Partnership, working with colleagues across Moray and partner agencies in developing a vision for the service, leading ongoing review and redesign of the service to meet the needs of people in an efficient and cost effective manner. They will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of Medical Assisted Treatment Standards strategy, local and national policies and quality standards within the department in order to meet local and NHS Grampian objectives. They will require to demonstrate a sound understanding of Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness philosophies ensuring their application within the department, through lived / living experience involvement, audit, and compliance with clinical and professional guidelines, standards and protocols by promoting and encouraging evidence based practice.
