This role will involve taking a clinical lead role within the CDHB with opportunities for teaching in the Bachelor of Medical Imaging (BMI) programme at the Manawa campus.
The successful applicant will work with a team of staff who are experienced clinicians and educators. You are expected to be a qualified MIT with current registration and recent experience in general diagnostic radiography.
Minimum Requirements:
* Current New Zealand Scope of Practice Medical Imaging Technologist
* Current industry/discipline knowledge
* Knowledge of Te Whatu Ora processes and protocols
* A broad range of clinical skills
* Vision, innovation, and a commitment to facilitating own and others' learning
* Flexibility to work in a range of theoretical and clinical courses
* Capable of supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes
* Digital literacy including competence using a computer (including Microsoft Office products)
* Effective communication with a diverse range of others, at all levels within and outside the organisation
* Passionate about medical imaging and the opportunities to improve practice or give back to the health sector through education
