Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Chorley Location: North West England, Lancashire, Chorley Job Type: Contract, Part-Time Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 Per hour Job Duties: Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons Assisting individual students or small groups with learning activities Helping to create a positive learning environment Supervising students during class and break times Providing feedback to teachers on student progress Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Enhanced DBS check Education: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Experience: Prior experience working in a school setting preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the national curriculum Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: The role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable.
