General hours of work are 48 hours per week, and this role involves night shift working. Overtime is also available.
Responsibilities of a 12ab Traffic Management Operative Trainee:
The 12ab Traffic Management Operative Trainee sits at the heart of everything we do on our high-speed roads.
You will be responsible for:
* Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying:
o cones,
o signs,
o frames,
o sandbags,
o and other equipment on high-speed roads.
* Helping and guiding new trainees once you are fully qualified.
What Good Looks Like for a 12ab Traffic Management Operative Trainee:
* Traffic Management experience is desirable but not essential.
* Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years.
* Able to pass a drug and alcohol test; your offer will depend on the outcome of this.
* Positive “can-do” attitude.
* Adaptability and Flexibility.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
