Purpose of the job:
As an Amazon eCommerce Global Account Manager, you will support the business case development, coach/train on the operational setup end to end across 15 active countries and work to establish Schneider Electric as a category leader in relevant electrical categories. In some cases, you will directly manage our commercial relationship with Amazon, while in others you will support our local country teams in their account management, commercial negotiation, and operational excellence.
You will work to maximize the potential of the Amazon partnership by working with central and local teams to coach internal teams on how to set up their local organization, build our central knowledge base to uplift Acumen on how to work with Amazon, and support active troubleshooting on operational and functional issues that inhibit growth, all to deliver the best customer experience and appropriate capabilities to grow our category share.
This position requires strong negotiation, communication, and commercial skills when dealing with stakeholders internal and external. You will also be very comfortable tackling daily operational challenges and ‘rolling up your sleeves’ to ensure the account can grow in sales and influence.
Your overall target is to grow Amazon sell-out for the Schneider Brand and to develop us as a category champion on the Amazon platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build our Global Amazon Strategy, and drive alignment and localization for effective deployment in countries.
2. Setup and deploy the Multi-country operating model and governance for Amazon across all agreed countries to drive eCommerce transformation and growth.
3. Assist countries in developing their launch plan, and support all relevant workstreams to clarify Amazon requirements.
4. Coach/Train and assist our countries on how to work with Amazon and activate all potential growth levers.
5. Work with countries to develop a strong commercial growth plan to reach our combined target.
6. Develop the definition of central and local resource and capabilities to accelerate Amazon growth.
7. Support local development of Amazon strategy and the operationalization of agreed activities including product launches and product boosts, supported by clear deal and marketing plans.
8. Drive development of and co-ordinate our contract framework to lower risk and ensure consistency of commercial policy to ensure Amazon is a profitable platform.
9. Drive our Pricing governance process with Amazon in all regions.
10. Responsible for commercial performance with Amazon, including responsibility for turnover and profitability, as well as online performance of Schneider products (traffic, conversion rate, etc.).
11. Working with the Digital Trade Manager, innovate and optimize eCommerce activities along the customer journey with a ROI-driven focus.
12. Define and measure online/e-business KPIs to ensure eCommerce growth and transformation on Amazon platforms.
13. Ensure consistent workflows, roll-outs/releases of eCommerce content and technology enablers.
Internal Relationships:
The role holder will be in frequent relations with:
* Global E2 leader – Goal setting and agreed objectives.
* Digital Trade Manager – Define key activities to be supported for Amazon Central and Locally.
* Ecommerce OPS – Align on targeted operating model and receive guidance for local strategies.
* Country eCommerce, Digital Customer Experience, Channel Teams – Co-drive Amazon eCommerce strategy and execution.
* Legal Team – Work on deployment of Amazon Contracts.
* eCommerce Finance Teams – Provide roadmap and priorities for POS Performance management rollout.
* Global Supply Chain – Develop needed capabilities to launch Amazon and process improvement plans.
* Pricing teams – Drive governance and setup of Amazon pricing in agreed regions/countries.
* Country Executives - Nurture high-quality relationships with relevant business and functional heads.
External Relationships:
* Senior Amazon Vendor Managers, SVS, AVS, Instock teams, Amazon Advertising teams.
* Ecommerce related providers.
Location:

Relevant experience:
* Minimum 10 years of e-commerce, digital marketing, and/or digital product management.
* Minimum 5 years of Amazon experience including negotiation of JVP and VIP plans.
* Proven experience in building relationships with Amazon Senior Vendor Managers.
* Deep understanding of Vendor Central, Seller Central, and Amazon’s Advertising Tools.
* Direct experience building commercial joint action plans and achieving targets.
* Direct B2C/B2B eCommerce experience (at least 2 years) or online agency background.
* Experience in Tech is a plus.
* Successful experience in developing customer-centric solutions.
* Good knowledge of electrical distribution and industrial automation offers.
* Experience in value chain analysis and developing new online business models.
* Experience in developing e-tail and marketplace channels.
* Good understanding of web analytics and experience leveraging analytics to drive growth.
* Experience with digital marketing tools and instruments (SEM, Affiliate, Retargeting…).
* Good technical understanding of webshop/ecommerce systems.
