We are looking to recruit a Business Support Officer to support the Public Health Directorate working afternoons for 18.5 hours per week.
The successful person will work as part of an administrative team to provide business support to Consultants, Programme Managers and Project Managers, who are seeking to improve the health and wellbeing of the population in Sandwell.
The candidate will have effective prioritisation, communication, organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work on their own initiative and contribute to effective team working.
Applicants should possess:
* Typing/word processing ability to OCR/RSA Level II or equivalent, and GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification and be able to use Microsoft Office applications.
* At least one year’s experience of working within a business support/administrative environment is essential.
