About the role:
The Global Corporate Account Manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls all sales activities for the global account customer in order to achieve short- and long-term overall objectives within the global business unit strategy. The goal of this role is to ensure BC consolidates and expands a profound relation with our global account in the assigned region (MEU/Europe) and grows the top and bottom line business with them. Success drivers are good business sense, a customer focused approach and a keen eye for unlocking growth and business opportunities. This to be combined with a deep understanding of our biggest global corporate account as well as of Barry Callebaut.
Key responsibilities:
1. Act as the business-developing link between the organization and the customer for the region WE+CEE//MEU
2. Mapping out and full understanding of customer strategy, brands & categories in order to enable relevant solutions offering and identify future opportunities with the customer
3. Liaise with stakeholders in country clusters (Barry Callebaut and Customer) to develop opportunities and coordinate inside the regional European setup. Stakeholder management is a critical enabler for success in this role
4. Support improvement of forecast accuracy and receivables %.
5. Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the long-term supply agreements.
6. Direct and actively support the implementation of customer relationship management in the relevant segments and networks.
7. Keep abreast of critical trends and evolutions within the area of responsibility in order to be able to react properly and timely.
8. Drive innovation and productivity projects together with Global and European Business Developers and CSD team.
9. Drive the sustainability agenda together with a dedicated Global Corporate Account sustainability team
10. Ensure constant follow-up on commercial goals and achievements in order to meet/exceed objectives.
11. Ensure short- and medium-term objectives in terms of volume, margin and market share are met / exceeded.
12. This role is expecting you to travel 50-75% of your working time
About you:
1. First experience in selling to large corporations in a B2B food environment or large corporations in general
2. Strong in navigating complex matrix organizations, both internally and externally
3. Analytical skills in a sales and marketing environment
4. Knowledge of budgetary control and pricing mechanisms
5. In-depth first knowledge of the industry’s offering in terms of capabilities, products, innovation, as well as understanding the key players, customers and competitors, in the world of chocolate
6. Proven track record of sales success with large customers in a B2B organization in the food and beverage industry
7. Proficiency with Google applications, SalesForce and MS Office
8. Language: English essential, Polish, French, German are an advantage
9. 2-5 years of experience in a commercial B2B-environment
10. Master’s Degree
