Senior Practice Manager, AWS Professional Services Germany

As a Senior Practice Manager at AWS, you will be responsible for building and leading a practice of Professional Services Consultants working with customers and partners to sell and deliver innovative solutions. You will routinely engage with Director, VP, C-level executives and governing boards to win and lead successful IT transformations. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans to build and evolve AWS offerings and solutions. You will create and manage opportunities with your team of sales-focused Enterprise Service Managers and Customer Delivery Architects. You will work closely with partner teams, driving business development initiatives and meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
This role requires experience in selling and delivering IT solutions in an agile environment. You will build relationships with customers, collaborate with sales leaders and engineering teams to create cross-functional teams both internally and externally to develop strong customer and partner relationships while growing the business in your practice. You will drive AWS adoption in key markets and accounts. You will collaborate with AWS training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.
You will build high-performing teams of consultants with excellent sales skills, technical depth, and innovative customer relationship skills, all while encouraging career-focused progression including capabilities of AWS. You are a people person who likes to get involved and work for customers through your teams and direct engagement and you travel to your customers as needed. You are passionate about using technology to solve business problems that have a big customer impact.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including the public sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Multiple years of progressive experience in selling and delivering professional services within the IT marketplace
2. Demonstrated experience with cloud providers models, with emphasis on building and delivering best practices
3. Proven experience building and leading teams through a career life-cycle development of growth and delivery
4. Experience managing a consulting practice or team’s full profit and loss (P&L)
5. Proficiency in German language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Deep understanding of data center, cloud computing, adoption strategy and transition challenges and experience with the design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services
2. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
3. Outstanding customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills in consulting team leader role
4. International sales and delivery experience with global F500 enterprise customers and partners
5. AWS cloud services experience and certification
