Pebbles Care is building a zero-hour workforce to provide additional support for children and young people across the region.
Your role and responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people, supporting their education, cooking, cleaning, and engaging in activities.
* Support care teams across several homes in the same area.
* Receive a full induction, shadow shifts, and in-depth training, including an introduction to Therapeutic Parenting.
* Communicate regularly regarding your availability for shifts, covering as many shifts as possible, with a minimum of one shift every four weeks to remain in the role.

* Hourly rate of £12.25 - £13.00 per hour and £80 per sleep payment, depending on qualifications and training (Full-time equivalent salary is £33,738 to £35,209).

Desirable qualities:
* One year’s experience working with children or young adults is highly desirable.
* SCQF Level 7 (Scotland) or Level 3 Diploma (England) relevant to Children and Young People's Residential workforce or willingness to work towards this.
* Familiarity with the Codes of Practice set out by regulatory bodies (e.g., SSSC / Ofsted).
* Existing PVG / DBS certificate or willingness to obtain this.
