Teaching Assistant Position in Basingstoke
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected all-through (5-16) Special Educational Needs school in Basingstoke. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the learning and development of students with Autism and other learning difficulties in a positive environment. Previous experience with special needs, children, or vulnerable adults is beneficial but not essential.
Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Basingstoke
Hourly Pay: £13.86/hour, paid weekly
Full and part-time roles are available.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support students in the classroom, assisting with their learning and development.
2. Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation.
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Provide individual or group support to students as needed.
5. Encourage and assist students' academic and personal growth.
Requirements:
* A passion for education and working with young people.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students.
* Patience, adaptability, and dedication to creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
