About the role:
We are looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to join us on a permanent basis, to help provide a high level and pro-active personal clerical/administrative support service to the senior management team of Adult Social Care Operations. The role will be based in Shire Hall, Gloucester.
As an Executive Assistant, you will work with the management team to ensure administrative standards are met through consistent processes and play a pivotal role in the team by prioritising issues to ensure that urgent, significant and politically sensitive matters are dealt with and/or escalated appropriately.
You will be dealing with correspondence, handling enquiries and responding to them appropriately, as well as undertaking diary management, preparing and collating agendas and arranging meetings.
You will be directly supporting the Assistant Director of Adult Social Care Support Services and Business Development, the Assistant Director of ASC – Strategic Lead for short term services and provide ad hoc support to the Assistant Director of ASC – Strategic Lead for long term services and the wider senior management team in Adult Social Care Operations.
About you:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience of working in a busy office environment is essential, as are excellent IT skills. You will be taking calls from internal colleagues as well as members of the public, so a professional telephone manner is a must. Knowledge of the Liquid Logic system would be beneficial, however training will be provided.
