required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier based in Liverpool.
The Successful Workshop Manager / Engineering Manager / Service Manager
will oversee and supervise all workshop activities such as servicing, maintenance, and repair of pump and pump related products.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and supervise all workshop activities such as servicing, maintenance, and repair of pump and pump related products.
2. Responsible for training new team members in all aspects of pump maintenance and service.
3. Implement and enforce quality, health, safety and environmental policies, procedures, safe systems of work, PPE, regulations, and legislation. Ensure all aspects of workshop and yard workspace, resources and activities are continually compliant with these.
4. Work closely with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager to ensure effective operations throughout the workshop.
5. Install pump systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
6. Liaise with various engineering departments.

* £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Requirements
1. Managed a team in an electromechanical or mechanical engineering environment such as pumps, engines, compressors, filtration, generators, motors, gearboxes, plant machinery, rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or similar electromechanical engineering equipment.
2. Experience working with diesel engines would be highly advantageous.
3. Experience as a workshop manager, engineering manager, service manager, service supervisor, workshop supervisor, branch manager, assistant branch manager, or similar.
4. A technical engineering degree/qualification or apprentice trained would be advantageous.
5. Willingness to commute daily to the workshop in Liverpool.
