To provide administration support to the Security Department in terms of photocopying, scanning documents, booking meetings, booking visitors onto site, supporting the recruitment of employees, agency workers and contractors. There is an increase in workload in the department due to an increase in agency workers, contractors and employees. The Security Department not only look after SFL but all the satellite sites and support outages at customer sites.
In addition following an ONR intervention there has been a number of actions placed on the department which require continuous support and will add extra work to the department in order to deliver these (for example delivering training to all current line managers, and new line manager in the future)
The department has also undertaken the processing of induction training, which was carried out previously by other personnel within the business. Due to the increase in personnel being recruited into Oxide and other areas of the business this has had a significant impact on the department. Each new starter regardless of their employment status requires over an hour of the security teams dedicated time once Rullion share the supporting documentation for Security to review and approve / deny clearance.
