Contracts Manager (Highways)
Industry: Civil Engineering/ Infrastructure
Location: Isle of Wight
Hours: 40 hours per week
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: Permanent
Duties:
Delivery of Contract in line with agreed budgets and performance standards,
Responsible for managing supervisory staff and overseeing management of maintenance teams across 2 sites and developing performance,
Ensure adherence to health and safety including monthly audits,
Ensure effective programming and planning to meet service delivery agreements,
Ensure financial governance and efficient reporting,
Maintain relationships with stakeholders and manage subcontractors and supply chain partners,
Experience:
Must have previous experience of management within the highway maintenance industry and relevant qualifications to a minimum of level 3 plus NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
Must have a good level of computer literacy including Confirm, Kheops or equivalent.
Must have experience of cost management and good reporting skills,
Must have strong understanding of health and safety, qualify and environmental issues, with excellent attention to detail and initiative.
Must be proactive, with excellent communication and leadership skills as well as being able to work flexibly and as part of a team.
Salary: £48 - 55,000 per annum, dependent upon experience plus company car/ car allowance.
