Pay rate: £15 per hour - PAYE Location: Central London Job Type: Temporary initially for 3 months with a review Working Hours: 35 hours per week, all year round Hybrid working offered post on-boarding I have partnered with a growing Academy Trust in Central London who are looking for a bright and diligent Finance Administrator to join a finance team of 9. As Finance Administrator you will report to the Head of Finance and work alongside an experienced and supportive team to provide comprehensive financial support across the Trust. Day to Day of the role: Focus on purchase-to-pay processes, including purchase orders, invoice processing, expense claims, and credit card transactions. Data entry and maintenance of accounting records on the Trust’s finance system. Liaise with suppliers and external organisations regarding financial matters. Administer the finance mailbox/helpdesk and support academies with the cashless control system. Work as part of the Finance Team to deliver effective financial operations in line with Trust policies and procedures. Deputise for other finance staff as needed and ensure compliance with external reporting and audit requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous Finance/Accounts Payable experience Preferable to have experience in a similar role, within an educational setting. Good understanding of accounting systems and the importance of confidentiality. Proficiency with computer systems and packages, such as MS Office & Google Suite. Excellent numeracy, literacy, communication, planning, prioritising, and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high professional standards. As this is a Temporary position you must be able to start no later than 18th November and be committed to working on a temporary basis for 3 months.
