We’re looking for an Account Manager to join Vodafone Business IT hub Leicester central, one of our pioneering local businesses within the Vodafone Franchise network of IT Managed Service providers across the UK. Vodafone Business IT hub Leicester central offers Microsoft-centric support services to small businesses with a focus on data protection, communications, collaboration and information security. The successful candidate will need to have a good appreciation of all factors with a core understanding in any of the below technologies:• Microsoft 365• Meraki WiFi• Networks, routing & security• HP desktops & laptops and other associated vendors What will you be doing? As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, as well as actively pursuing new business opportunities. Your primary goal will be to identify and win new clients while providing exceptional service to our existing customers. You will collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure the smooth onboarding and ongoing support of clients.• Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and propose tailored IT solutions.• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to win new business, with the view to continue to nurture and maintain relationships, acting as their primary point of contact.• Drive the sales process from initial contact to closing, including contract negotiations and deal closures.• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company.• Maintain current and effective knowledge of existing products and services.• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.• Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely and effective service delivery.• Address client concerns and issues promptly, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining client loyalty. Who you will be? • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the IT services industry.• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and related technologies.• Demonstrable communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to address client needs.• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.• Showcases strong organisational skills and attention to detail.• Proficient in CRM software and sales productivity tools.Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
