SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Displays compliance with Federal, State, and local agencies as well as industry organizations, agencies, and partners.
* Provide direct resident care, performing basic nursing skills as assigned in accordance with current aide training curriculum.
* Complete assignments in a timely manner.
* Identify special resident problems, safety hazards, and emergency situations and report them immediately to the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor.
* Review Care Plans and perform the nursing care as outlined. Participate in resident care conferences, and assist in the revision of the plan of care when appropriate.
* Document accurately in Point Click Care and accurately complete Resident care forms.
* Follow process for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
* Assist in the delivery of Restorative Nursing Process in accordance with procedures.
* Adhere to all infection control procedures and processes.
* Participate in the orientation of new CNAs.
* Serve on committees or special projects as directed by the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor.
* Perform other related duties as directed by the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor, ADON, and DON.
* Adhere to the Values and Expectations statement and element of the compliance program.
* Adhere to the Organizations Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Possess the ability to follow directives and work with an attitude of cooperation and a willingness to learn.
* Possess the ability to deliver quality customer service in a positive and respectful manner.
* Possess the desire to care for the elderly.
* Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with residents, family members, and fellow team members.
* Possess the ability to obtain proficiency with newly acquired skills and procedures.
* Possess the ability to follow directives.
* Possess the ability to prioritize tasks according to resident needs.
* Attend meetings and complete Relias in-services as required.
Position Requirements:
A graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide program is required. Current PA CNA license is required.
