This role comes with a business needs car and a comprehensive benefits package including Bupa Health Cash Plan, eligibility for a company bonus and more) As a Field Performance Manager at Southern Water, you will manage a team which operates and maintains drinking water production sites, overseeing 13 sites managing 7x operators and 1x coordinator which are located across the Brighton and the East Sussex area. These sites produce around eighty million litres of water per day, supplying wholesome water to around half a million customers throughout the year. You will also work with industry experts to build new treatment processes to meet increasing regulatory standards. The primary purpose of the role is managing, coaching, and mentoring your team to meet and exceed company, regulatory and your own high standards to achieve excellent water quality, health and safety and financial performance. An element of your role will be managing external audits with the Drinking Water Inspectorate and other regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your role as Field Performance Manager is vital to the work that Southern Water does. Using your strong people management skills, you will demonstrate the ability to manage challenging site teams effectively. Your water process knowledge would be desirable, however any chemistry or process experience from any other industry would be advantageous.
