Your new role: Senior Administrator/ Temporary/ 6 months plus/ £ to £ per hour. Do you want to be effective and help shape and add structure to an organisation? Can you take on multiple tasks and deliver in a fast-paced environment?
You will be required to provide project administrative support, along with being able to prioritise tasks to support a busy HE department. This role will be hybrid; working to a fixed rota of 2 days WFH and 3 on campus. Onboarding is a 10-day period - 100% onsite. This is a temporary role and is expected to last 6 months; however, it could be longer. Acting as senior administrator, you will be able to work independently and be able to work at board level. Taking minutes and organising minutes is an essential part of this role. In addition, tasks such as financial administration, including raising PO numbers, producing reports on financial information will be required. The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative/project management support to the Director and the wider faculty. The post holder will be a key administrative point of contact within the team and will ensure questions, issues and concerns are addressed effectively. This dynamic and demanding role will involve considerable flexibility. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
What you will need to succeed:
You will need to be an experienced Senior Administrator/ PA. This is a very varied administrative role. Therefore, you will be required to be both flexible and adaptable. The working hours are 35 per week from Monday to Friday and will be required to be both onsite and home working. Previous administrative experience within the university sector is essential along with a professional manner. Excellent communication skills and a polite and friendly approach are also essential.
