Deputy Team Leader - Facilities Management - Stevenage, England - £45,000 DOE
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK at their prestigious clients site based in Stevenage.
Hours of work: Mon Friday - 8am to 5pm
Salary: £45,000
Location: Stevenage, England
Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure availability of plant and equipment to drive efficient and reliable operation at all times.
2. Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and handover works for plant and user equipment.
3. Provide, and where required, implement solutions to design problems.
4. Ensure asset information is accurate and up to date. Make recommendations for changes where required and fully engage in the LCAM process.
5. Raise and issue Business Impact Assessments and Operational Occurrence Reports (OORs) for situations that deviate from the expected during maintenance activities on equipment, systems, and utilities, which could affect product quality.
6. Carry out engineering tasks related to planned and reactive work activities.
7. Recognise spares requirements, order spares and update stock items as necessary.
8. Manage and monitor subcontractors working under your direct control.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Demonstrable evidence of relevant technical experience and must hold qualification(s) at a minimum of NVQ level 3 in a related engineering discipline.
2. Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3. A good level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
4. Strong organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills. Ability to work to time constraints and prioritise tasks according to the needs of the business.
5. Good leadership, motivational, and communication skills are required.
6. Innovative and focused on continuous improvement.
