Are you an Electronics Technician or similar with PCB / Low Voltage / Analog experience looking for a varied and technical role working on specialist Legacy Material equipment within a market-leading company offering ongoing development opportunities and a bonus to increase your earnings?
This company specialise in stocking and distributing legacy equipment working directly with the MOD and other blue-chip companies across the UK. Since their establishment in 1991, they have become market leaders in supplying and sourcing parts of aviation & military vehicle components and are now looking to expand their team to keep up with increasing demand.
In this dynamic role, you will receive ESD (Electro Magnetic Discharge) training to develop your industry knowledge and will be responsible for conducting general PCB testing, fault finding and repair on older legacy Military equipment using multi-meters, oscilloscopes and signal generators. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Electronics Engineer and liaise with the production team to ensure all equipment is tested and repaired in a timely manner.
This role would suit an Electronics Technician or similar looking for an exciting days-based role within a well-established company offering training to expand your industry knowledge as well as the opportunity to progress to senior positions and an annual bonus to increase your earnings.
The Role:
1. Fault finding and general PCB testing & repair.
2. Use of test equipment including digital multi-meters, oscilloscope, signal generator, PSUs - mainly working on older technology from the 1970's.
3. Full ESD training provided.
4. Documenting processes and ensuring standard design practices are met.
5. Reporting directly to Senior Electronics Engineer and liaising with senior leadership to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Monday to Thursday - 8:30am - 5pm with early finish at 4:15pm on Fridays.
The Person:
1. Electronics Technician or similar.
2. PCB / Low Voltage / Analog background.
3. Commutable to Horsham.
