As a team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Data Management Specialist to join our Data & AI Practice. We deliver scalable, business-critical solutions for our clients in the Data Management and Governance team. Our end-to-end experience allows our Data practitioners to advise on Data management and Strategy, Modelling, MDM, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Privacy and compliance through to Data Mesh and Marketplace. As a Data Management Specialist, you will need to:
1. Work with client teams to design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using a range of new and emerging technologies, leveraging your prior experience in this area
2. Work with traditional delivery or Agile methodologies delivery of projects
3. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, often needing to bridge the gap between the business and technical teams to understand client requirements
4. Leverage your MDM experience in solutioning business problems using Data Management and Governance techniques, frameworks, and best practices.
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
1. Demonstrable experience in delivering end-to-end MDM solution implementation
2. Demonstrable experience in growing Data Management skills within teams as part of your experience
3. Solid technical MDM knowledge of one of the market-leading vendor products
4. Good working understanding of the current leading MDM technologies
5. Well-rounded knowledge of technical and non-technical aspects of data management, including Reference Data Management, Data Quality Improvement, Metadata Management, Data Marketplace, and Data Governance.
6. Experience working in a client-facing / consulting environment to build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
7. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to apply analytical and creative thought processes.
9. Proven success in contributing in a multi-location team-oriented environment.
Set yourself apart:
1. MDM tooling certifications with implementation experience
2. Prior experience working within agile / SAFE frameworks
3. Outlining a vision, strategy, and roadmap for data management as well as developing the case for change to support that vision
4. Defining data management operating models including Data Governance Frameworks and the roles and responsibilities around ownership of data across an enterprise
5. Defining and implementing reference data and metadata management, including next-generation solutions and strategies, operating models, architecture, and solution components
6. Regulatory and Compliance or Policy work in Data Management and Governance space
