Key Responsibilities: Assisting solicitors with the preparation and submission of licensing applications for pubs, bars, and other hospitality and retail venues. Conducting legal research on licensing laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Drafting correspondence, legal documents, and reports related to licensing matters. Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth application process. Managing case files, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all deadlines are met. Supporting solicitors in preparing for hearings and client meetings. Handling administrative tasks such as diary management, document filing, and client communications. Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role is desirable (licensing experience preferred but not essential). general administration experience will be considered. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
