The Greater Manchester Neurosciences Centre at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust serves the population of Greater Manchester. The centre has over 150 in-patient beds with sub-specialities including complex ENT, Spinal Surgery, short stay and complex, Major Trauma, Acute Neurology, Stroke Services (Hyper-acute and Rehabilitation), Programme Investigation Unit, and Hyper- Acute Neuro Rehabilitation.

You will be registered with the NMC and have experience of working in a hospital environment, a newly qualified nurse or a final year student.
Ward H7 is a 22 bedded neurosurgical unit, caring for patients with a range of neuro conditions. Nursing staff caring for patients in this area will have opportunity to gain and develop skills in care of pre and post-operative patients, caring for patients with a wide variety of spinal conditions including long term paralysis, oncology and elective spinal surgery.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months.
Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
