We have an opportunity for an exceptional Project Manager to play a critical role in overseeing and managing the relocation of the Dogs Trust Head Office space in London, This includes overseeing the sale of an owned building, the refit of another owned building to become an innovative, collaborative workspace that meets the culture needs of the Charity. This role will require significant cultural change to be managed effectively with strong business readiness activities.

As Project Manager you’ll own and drive the project management delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities will include:
* the end-to-end management of an office relocation, sale of London property, and associated cultural change, making sure the move is carried out with minimal disruption, strong employee communications, and in a way that minimises costs and maximises investment.
* leading on the positive cultural change process, partnering with the People and Internal Comms teams to support the change of moving to a new way of working across the charity.
* leading the design, development and implementation of a digital document management system and collaborative tools to promote more effective hybrid working. Maximising their impact and success through ensuring all stakeholders and SMEs across Dogs Trust are consulted and involved throughout, and through ownership of the vendor selection process.
* actively developing and building positive working relationships to engage and influence all relevant stakeholders, ensuring appropriate involvement from across the organisation and externally as appropriate, to ensure the best possible outcomes are available for design and implementation across the organisation. This includes programme and individual project sponsors and teams.
* project reporting up to Trustee level, providing assurance, managing and influencing senior stakeholders. Creating and presenting Board papers, project updates and other communications as needed
About you:
To be successful in this role you’ll be a seasoned leader and project manager the ability to navigate and influence in a dynamic environment, engaging and partnering with Dog’s Trust stakeholders to continually drive alignment and outcomes to deliver the overall Dogs Trust strategy.
You’ll have a Project Management certification or professional body membership (e.g. Prince2/ Agile PM/ MSP/ PMI/ APM etc.), with demonstrable experience running projects that include; workplace strategy, significant cultural change, refurbishment or relocation projects. You will be an exceptional communicator and influencer, and the ability to tailor communication approaches and styles to build rapport and trust with colleagues and stakeholders, including at senior levels.

About the team:
The COO Directorate plays a key role in overseeing Dogs Trust's internal operations, ensuring the effective management and delivery of the Charity’s financial, legal, IT, efficiencies, facilities, risk and governance functions. The Directorate works closely with senior leadership to support the organisation's Rehoming Centres, prevention programmes, fundraising and international efforts. Its focus is on ensuring smooth internal processes that align with the mission and strategic goals of what is the UK's largest dog welfare charity.
