Skilled Worker / Semi-Skilled Worker | Full-Time | Field Operations

Responsibilities:
1. The Blades team will be responsible for special tasks related to blades.
2. Support blades maintenance processes on site, including inspection, preventive and corrective activities.
3. Collaborate with the Blades Technology department on assessing the complexity of the repair and determining reparation processes.
4. Perform onsite repairs according to internal maintenance procedures.
5. Confirm process control and reporting from site.
6. Execute actions as directed by either written and/or verbal instructions.
7. Champion safety processes on site including providing recommendations to management regarding safety issues.
8. Demonstrate integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis.
9. Contribute to creating a team working environment assisting and helping field mates to accomplish goals.
10. Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job-related processes and procedures and communicate through appropriate channels.
11. Ability to climb ladders 45-105 meters in height.
12. Comfort working at heights over 100 meters.
13. Provide on-site training to technicians for basic repair.
14. Supervise the blade subcontractor teams when applicable.
15. Follow up and communicate material consumptions during the performed activities.
Qualifications:
1. Technical degree (engineering) preferred or equivalent years of highly technical experience.
2. 3+ years of experience in service/management of wind turbines; 2+ years of experience in blade repair.
3. Computer skills.
4. Basic English language proficiency for understanding documentation and basic communication.
5. Ability to demonstrate basic industrial safety practices.
6. Ability to work at heights and in adverse climatic conditions.
7. Rope access training, Level 1 or Level 2 - Rope Access certification is preferred (IRATA or SPRAT).
8. Valid Driver's license.
Competencies:
1. Organizational skills for managing personnel and complex projects.
2. Written and verbal communication skills.
3. Strong multi-discipline knowledge including comfort with mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
5. Candidates must have international labor flexibility and availability; traveling is required 90% of the time.
6. Strong level of self-motivation.
7. Capable of working with a remote team, away from management.
