The Role As a Chef de Partie, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, reporting directly to the Head Chef. You will take charge of your section, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating seasonal, balanced menus that cater to a diverse range of dietary requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with menus, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment. Assist with inventory management and stock ordering, ensuring the efficient use of supplies and maintaining health and safety standards. Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet the school’s high culinary standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices. What We’re Looking For Experience working in a professional kitchen, with a proven track record as a Chef de Partie. Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Experience in preparing diverse cuisines is a plus. Ability to develop and present innovative and appealing dishes that cater to a variety of tastes and dietary requirements. Experience in supervising and training junior staff, with excellent team collaboration and communication skills. A meticulous approach to food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards. Willingness to adapt to changing menus and dietary needs, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
