Job Description Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Location: Lichfield Pay : £14.80 per hour Hours: 3-5 days per week (flexible hours) Start Date: ASAP Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our team in Lichfield. The successful candidate will support the clinical team by providing high-quality care in the treatment room and conducting diabetic foot checks. Experience with EMIS Web is essential. Key Responsibilities: Perform a range of treatment room duties, including but not limited to wound care, dressings, and assisting clinicians with minor procedures. Conduct diabetic foot checks, including assessment and documentation, under the guidance of the nursing team. Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web, ensuring timely and precise documentation of all care provided. Support the nursing and GP team in the smooth running of clinics, managing patient flow, and preparing equipment and rooms. Provide health education and lifestyle advice to patients where appropriate. Ensure infection control and cleanliness standards are upheld in the treatment room. Order and manage clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels. Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support clinical operations. Essential Requirements: Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a clinical setting. Proficiency with EMIS Web for documentation and patient management. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Understanding of diabetic foot care procedures and best practices. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
