Salaried GP role but the candidate would need to be within 2 years of qualification.
To join the team at The Grove Medical Centre for a minimum of 3 sessions per week. We are able to accommodate more sessions.

Main duties of the job
1. Responding to medical problems presented by patients, including history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment and referral where appropriate.
2. Providing appropriate preventative health care and advice.
3. Adhering to the practice prescribing formulary.
4. Participating in clinical governance activity and contributing to the improvement in quality of health outcomes through the practices audit programme.
5. Participating in patient triage and responding appropriately to patient queries.
6. Clinically related administrative and non-clinical duties necessary for the delivery of the GMS contract.
7. Engaging in appropriate educational activity in order to maintain clinical competence and performance, including the completion of objectives agreed by yourself and your appraiser.
8. Supporting the practice staff and responding to requests for advice and assistance from the practice reception, secretarial and nursing teams.
9. To undertake daily tasks such as results, letters, reports, repeat prescribing etc. for own workflow and for other teams as required.
10. Practice mandatory training to be undertaken.
11. At all times to behave in a professional way that encourages quality practice and the development of team spirit.
About us
The Grove Medical Centre was built in 1985 to provide facilities for a comprehensive range of primary health care. It provides care to approximately 15,500 patients.
There are three partners and a clinical team of salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, as well as allied health professionals. There is an administrative and management team, including an Operations Manager and Reception Manager who support the Practice Manager and partners.
The practice is part of the SASSE 2 PCN, made up of five local GP practices that work together with the aim of improving healthcare for the community and reducing health inequalities.
This role is based at the Grove Medical Centre.
