We have an exciting opportunity for a Tenancy Management Officer to cover areas in and around the Greater Manchester area. Living locally in or around Greater Manchester, you will travel around your 'patch' with the freedom to manage your diary around your customer visits and stakeholder meetings. You will also be required to visit our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington (WA3 7QH), for meetings and training as and when required.
What will I be responsible for doing? First and foremost, you will be working independently, taking the lead on the delivery of a first class, end-to-end customer focused tenancy management service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of social housing and property/tenancy management.
* Good knowledge of best practice in safeguarding adults and safeguarding children.
* A good level of understanding of Housing Management and relevant Housing services.
Ideally, you will…
* Have a passion for delivering consistently high levels of customer service and making a positive difference to our customers' lives.
* Be a real team player, working closely with colleagues within your own team and across departmental decisions.
This role is really suited to someone who likes to lead, drive and deliver results that will improve Your Housing Group's vision of being a sector leading landlord that values its staff and customers as its number one priority.
Your Housing Group is a registered social landlord helping people at every stage of life to live in quality homes they can afford. As one of the North's sector-leading landlords, we are proud to play our role in tackling the UK's housing crisis by continually reinvesting in our 29K properties and tailoring our services to meet the diverse needs of our customers. We also build over 1,000 new homes each year. We're an employer of choice; over 88% of colleagues here recommend us as a 'great place to work'.
In return, we offer £28,000 - £30,395 per annum for a 35-hour week, and 25 days annual leave (holidays also increase with length of service) plus Bank Holidays. Our employee deal offers much more than just a competitive salary and holiday allowance. We trust our people to manage their own diaries; if you need time for an appointment, the school run or an exercise class, as long as it fits with business needs, we're open to what works for you too. When you need to collaborate with your team, you can visit Youggle House - our wellbeing, social, collaboration and meeting space. On top of this, we'll provide you with a great benefits package, including a contributory pension where we match whatever you choose to contribute (up to 8%), an advanced level Healthcare cash plan through BHSF, that provides dental and optician cashback and health and wellbeing benefits (such as 24/7 GP Access, money back from prescriptions, and alternative therapy treatments) and an amazing discount scheme that gives you access to half price cinema tickets, subsidised gym memberships and a huge range of discounts with some of the biggest high street and online names.
