Human Resources Lead Annual Salary: £40,000-£45,000 Location: Liverpool Job Type: Full-time, 4 days office based 1-day WFH This role is pivotal in leading the delivery of customer-centric people services, ensuring high standards of service quality and compliance across various operational areas predominantly supporting employees with anything from hiring to retiring. Day-to-day of the role: Lead the delivery of People Services, ensuring a customer-centric and effective administrative and enquiry service. Act as the point of escalation and subject matter expert for the service, taking personal responsibility to ensure satisfactory outcomes. Work closely with Local HR teams to ensure that People Services meet service and compliance requirements. Maintain knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the provision of People Services. Coach the team for capability improvement and support them to exceed customer expectations. Proactively lead the identification and implementation of process and service improvements. Conduct periodical audits to drive data input quality and improve capability and performance. Collaborate with the wider People Services team and HR function to understand business needs and deliver effective services. Actively participate in the People Services change journey and contribute to activities ensuring consistency across the function. Maintain high standards of confidentiality and compliance, ensuring the maintenance of accurate employee and HR records. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of the importance of the employee experience and excellent customer service mindset in a HR service environment. Additional languages spoken (Desirable) Experience organising and coaching others to achieve tight deadlines with high volumes and conflicting demands. Confident as a subject matter expert in People Services activities and requirements within the oil and gas industry. Logical approach, resilience, and drive to complete tasks/projects to a high-quality standard and react to changes as they occur. Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work with minimum supervision. Solution-focused, with a proactive approach and ‘can do’ attitude. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Desirable: Working knowledge of Oracle or similar HCM systems, PowerBi or similar reporting systems, and experience in a HR Shared Services environment.
