About the Role
We seek to add a number of roles to our existing highly motivated team of Classroom Support Assistants, who have a positive attitude towards supporting young people with SEND. The role is to provide support, motivation and guidance to students in lessons and to help pupils overcome barriers to their learning. These will include supporting literacy and numeracy interventions. The successful candidates will be required to provide academic, emotional and social support to young people to help them overcome barriers to learning, ensuring that individual pupils engage more effectively in learning and participating in the life of the school. Candidates will have the ability to identify specific barriers and implement a range of strategies to support both basic skills and access to the curriculum under the guidance of the SENCo and class teachers.
