We’re looking for an ambitious, self-starting Account Director who has bags of energy, a project management mindset and an penchant for creative flair. You’ll be responsible for the relationships we have with clients at the highest level as well as day-to-day delivery of our projects. You’ll be someone who is keenly organised and self-motivated, with an upbeat ‘hands-on’ approach, ready to pick up projects and make them happen across multiple channels. The lion’s share of the role is in the day-to-day detail of delivering projects, maintaining the great relationships we have with our clients, and building upon them to explore opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who can balance these strong organisational skills and client-facing responsibilities with creative flair, and who can also understand the vision of our projects and get excited by the delivery of them to the highest degree. With that in mind, the right person will likely also share our deeply held passion for drinks, food, hotels, travel, luxury and heritage. This is a role that the right person can really get their teeth in to and make their own.
You’ll know you’re doing well when you have built a great rapport with key clients; dare we say even have a laugh with them on the phone? You must be confident in delivery across channels and confident that all internal and external stakeholders know where they’re at, at all times. You will be proud of the creative we are putting out and happy to show it to your mates in the pub, or family at home. You’ll look forward to coming to work and delivering class-leading storytelling and marketing projects.
* Key responsibilities:
* Supporting the core team of directors to develop brilliant work, to manage clients and to produce profitable projects
* Building out cross-channel campaigns from involvement in strategic discussions to full roll out
* Managing all client contact, maintaining excellent relationships
* Project management, using Trello
* Building out and managing budgets and costings
* Ensuring style guides and artwork processes always adhere to brand guidelines and internal procedures
* Research to support pitches, filming, story creation, writer sourcing, etc.
* Running productive working relationships internally and with contractors and suppliers
* Writing reports about projects, costs, progress, etc
* Helping create experiential events and influencer marketing
* Managing client project timelines and delivery, internally and externally
* Understanding and helping to develop the Untold brand world that we build as a team using content, social etc.
Person specification:
* You are a senior account or project director with robust and provable experience in a marketing/communications/PR agency. You will likely have 5-7 years of agency experience at a high level with several of those in a client facing role
* You are a skilled communicator and people-person. Our relationships, both internal and external, are everything to us
* You have a keen understanding and hunger for developing and growing relationships with new and existing clients
* You possess a deep experience with overseeing social media lead campaigns, including channel and format knowledge
* You have experience in managing multi-channel projects and campaigns – right across the board including copy, PR, advertising, print, online and film
* You have experience as a highly professional but warm and friendly client liaison at all levels of seniority essential
* You are generally creative, we welcome creative pursuits outside of work and try to accommodate these wherever possible
* You have a great eye for visual design, even if you’re not a designer
* You have an interest and understanding of culture, travel, food and drink and luxury goods
* You are a confident communicator with an understanding of how and when to proactively sell ideas and opportunities, coupled with an understanding of the importance of reporting both internally and to our clients
* You are an engaging personality who wants to join and contribute to a fantastic, lively team
* Your knowledge of project management systems is strong, from basic spreadsheets and timelines to more cloud/software-based solutions like Trello
* You have a working knowledge of operating CMS systems like Wordpress.
* You have an interest in the latest trends and technologies in the content, digital and social space. Changes happen every day and we pride ourselves on being out in front of them
* You have knowledge of video production and narrative film creation
* Degree preferred, but not essential for the right candidate

Location
A mixture of remote working and working from our main office in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. But specifics to be discussed.
Rate & Hours
Initially a contract position for six months, paying a competitive day rate as applicable to your experience. We’re open to discussions on the number of hours/days per week set against day rate, again depending on experience.
