About The Role
As our business evolves, we are looking to strengthen our workforce with talented and motivated individuals across a range of disciplines to work from our Northwest Engineering Centre of Excellence and currently have this opportunity available:
The core responsibility of this role is to support the HR team and function to deliver an exceptional people service across the business, covering aspects of the Employee Lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding & induction, assessment & appraisal, training & development, engagement & reward, career management and exiting the business.
Key Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Undertaking all HR administration and co-ordination activities to support the HR team and function to ensure all HR processes are maintained efficiently and accurately.
* Ensuring all data is accurate and kept up to date within the HR system (ADP) and standalone systems.
* Acting as first point of contact for HR queries, including managing the HR inbox allocating or escalating accordingly to relevant HR team member as required.
* Processing new starters, producing employment documentation such as correspondence, contracts and welcome packs, assigning to relevant induction programme, liaising with IT to set up new employee accounts and requesting required equipment, ensuring references requests are issued and returned and ensuring employee files are correct liaising with Payroll within defined timelines.
* Preparing and issuing revised correspondence, contracts and / or paperwork to employees to reflect changes to terms and condition changes.
* Conducting exit interviews for leavers and raise any concerns with the relevant HR team member and Line Manager.
* If required, attending formal meetings in the capacity of HR representative, taking notes and making recommendations.
* Supporting the Head of HR and wider HR Team with the preparation and collation of Company communications including posting information on the internal Company Notice Boards.
* Managing all documentation and personal data in line with GDPR and other legislative standards.
* Contributing to and on occasion leading in HR project activities and change initiatives.
* Occasional cover of the Office Administrator duties and tasks involving, arranging travel and accommodation or booking/arranging hospitality and support events/visits as required.
What We’re Looking For

* Minimum of grade C in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
* Level 3 HR or Administration Qualification
* Previous experience as a HR Administrator, preferably in a similar industry such as Manufacturing.
* Previous experience as an Administrator, preferably in a similar industry such as Manufacturing.
* Experience of using HR Information Systems and / or other IT systems.
* Experience working in a fast-paced internal support role dealing face to face with internal customers questions, queries and problems.
