We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Grade Doctor to join our multidisciplinary team in Cheadle, providing high-quality care to patients suffering from eating disorders.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated medical professional to be part of a dynamic team, assessing, diagnosing, and managing the medical care of patients within a specialized eating disorder unit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide medical assessment and treatment to patients with eating disorders in an inpatient setting
* Collaborate closely with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients
* Develop and implement patient care plans, addressing both medical and psychiatric needs
* Conduct regular patient reviews, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
* Support and guide junior staff and trainees
* Participate in clinical supervision and case discussions
* Contribute to the development and delivery of patient-focused care, considering physical and mental health
* Maintain adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices in the treatment of eating disorders
* Participate in on-call and out-of-hours services as required
Requirements:
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
* Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)

The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
