The Role:
My mainstream client based a short commute from Banbury is actively seeking an experienced RE Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time permanent basis. There is also an opportunity for experienced RE Teachers, particularly those with departmental leadership experience, to take on an RE Subject Lead role. As the RE Teacher you will be integral in ensuring students are supported in one of their crucial core subjects. In taking on departmental leadership you will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding members of the RE department. Full planning and marking responsibilities are required for the delivery of lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
The School:
You will be joining one of the school’s leading departments, made up of a welcoming and close-knit team of Humanities practitioners. As the Head of RE, you will be vital in contributing to the direction and organisation of the subject and its staff. The successful Head of RE can expect an annual base salary in line with the teacher pay scales (£31,650 - £49,084) in addition to a TLR2B for the additional responsibility.
