* Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2025
* Salary: Grade 2 Points 5 to 11
* £25,331 to £27,839 per annum (subject to pending job evaluation)
West Lothian College is looking to appoint an Information Point Assistant within the Information Systems and Digital Infrastructure faculty.
You will provide professional frontline support services, signposting and providing information to staff, visitors and students throughout their learner journey. You will undertake a wide variety of tasks, dealing with first line enquiries in accordance with college procedures, responding to information requests from all campus customers. You will become a valuable member of the Information Systems Team, providing an efficient and effective service to the college staff, students and visitors.
You will be educated to SCQF Level 5 or higher, you will have good IT skills, preferably experience using Microsoft Office applications. This role will ideally suit a proactive, organised and enthusiastic individual, who can work well under pressure and using their own initiative. As this is a frontline service role it is essential that you have first class customer service skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
