Anglo Skills College is a higher education training provider and is a rapidly growing college. We are expanding our business course and are looking to take on more business tutors with high expertise, experience, and delivery of the Pearson BTEC HND courses. The candidate must have teaching and delivery experience in the following business courses and areas:
* Business Management
* Business Marketing
* General Business Studies
The candidate must have a master’s level degree or above qualification, with teaching and assessment qualification, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in UK Higher Education institutions. Assessor award (A1) and verification award (V1) is preferred but not essential. A fully vetted Enhanced DBS is required.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is passionate about teaching and assessment, delivering the HND courses. Tutors should have previous experience of teaching assessment in similar courses in other UK institutions. We also expect the tutors to be familiar with the Pearson assignment brief, assessment process, and internal quality assurance process of the BTEC courses.
Your Responsibilities Include:
You must have experience in delivering and engaging students proactively, providing pastoral support and tutorials, designing lesson plans with up-to-date knowledge of current business practices, and engaging students with advanced levels of study and research skills, using key business literature and teaching materials. A key understanding of marking assignments to provide feedback on formative and summative assessments is essential. Tutors will need to develop lesson plans, maintain student progress and attendance, and report to the academic manager and IQA team while working alongside the academic manager.
The business tutor must attend open day events and conduct inductions for the courses during these events. Tutors must follow college policies and safeguarding students. We require a candidate who is flexible and able to take on multiple roles as needed. Maintaining an open line of proactive communication with the administration team, updating learning resources, and providing materials for students is also necessary.
