Role Overview
As Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm by providing essential support to EQ employees and clients. Your ‘go to’ person is the Administration Manager, who will support and challenge you not only to succeed in your role but to realise your potential and career aspirations at EQ.
Key Responsibilities
* Being on reception to welcome visitors to EQ and to answer phone calls, directing any queries to the relevant person
* Maintain all meeting rooms to a high standard
* Provide coffee / catering to clients as and when required
* Opening and scanning mail
* Maintaining the EQ database
* Onboarding of new clients
* Letter production
* Report production
* Take minutes in sector meetings as required
Our Ideal Candidate Will Be
* Organisational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities to manage various tasks efficiently.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
* Attention to Detail: Careful and accurate in managing information and handling tasks.
* Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* Prior Experience: Experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role and are familiar with office equipment (e.g. printers, videoconferencing tools).
* Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of basic accounting or bookkeeping may be beneficial.
