This position is currently based in an early years class, and you will assist in working one-to-one or in small groups to support pupils.
This will be a temporary position until 31st August 2025.
20 hours per week - 9am - 1.00pm Mon - Fri.
Term time only plus 5 additional INSET days (39 weeks).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support young children who need additional assistance to access mainstream education.
2. Work with children with social and communication difficulties.
3. Build effective relationships with both children and adults.
4. Motivate and engage young children to foster a love for school.
5. Remain calm and resilient in difficult situations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Experience of working in a school environment.
2. Kind, caring, and empathetic towards others.
3. Understanding of behavior as communication.
4. Excellent team worker and communicator.
